About my work

My art questions ideas of authenticity, history, memory, and legacy. I believe these concepts are complex and deserve deeper examination.

To explore these themes, I don’t limit myself to just painting and drawing. My creative process often begins with research on the topic at hand. I might experiment with sound, video, or even performance art before settling on a final medium, which is usually painting or drawing.

I share my work in progress on Instagram. Feel free to reach out and connect, or even request a studio visit to see my creative process firsthand.

About me

I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. I grew up in the swamps of North Carolina. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 16 years before moving to Denver, Colorado, in 2020.

I am a UX designer focused on creating sustainable digital products

I’m also a professional genealogist.

I serve as an alumni liaison for my alma mater — the once glorious, now-defunct San Francisco Art Institute. The spirit of SFAI is being kept alive by my peers at SF Artists Alumni.
